There’s also Adaware SE Personal edition too… i think its on http://www.lavasoft.com, which is also free, and those a pretty good job!

Thanks! I’ve been using Adaware from lavasoft for almost a year, and I find it pretty effective. I’ll try the one you suggested as well – let’s see if it’s better!

i know the program you are referring to. it is good for it has adwatch, which blocks tracking cookies. i use it in conjunction with spybot search and destroy, plus norton 06. with all these i seldom find anything in my computer that shouldn’t be there.
if you haven’t got it already, download microsoft antisypware. it’s not a bad program to have running in the background.
